Michael Satow

Michael Satow is an Operating Team Member at 1315 Capital, a healthcare expansion and growth equity firm. Michael is a serial health and wellness entrepreneur who has four nine-figure exits of companies he founded. In November 2023, serving as co-Founder and CEO, Bonafide Health was acquired by Pharmavite/Otsuka for $425 million in an all-cash transaction. Michael also served as CEO of Nutrition 21, a leading dietary ingredient company. In November 2021, Nutrition 21 was acquired in a $158 million all-cash transaction by Everwell Health, a platform established by Roundtable Healthcare Partners.

Earlier, Michael co-founded and served as a Board Member and COO of JDS Pharmaceuticals, a psychiatric and women’s health focused specialty pharmaceutical company, which he successfully exited in 2007 for $125 million in a cash sale to Noven Pharmaceuticals. Michael also co-founded and served as CEO of MarketXT, a venture-backed financial technology company, which he sold in 2000 for $100 million.

Michael sits on various nonprofit and corporate boards. He started his career as an attorney after graduating from Georgetown University and Columbia College.
